This is a great lamp. We used it in my sisters bedroom and works really well. it is a very sturdy lamp for the price and it not that cheep plastic stuff.I would recommend it.

This lamp is very easy to assemble. Because of the tinted bulb covers there does not seem to be as much light given out as the 200 watt (combination of the 5 40-watt bulbs) might indicate, making the lamp, for me, a nice one to be used in an older child's room. Depending on how moderately designed one's living quarters are. this lamp would fit in very well in a non-traditional room. The only problem I could find with it is that it appears to be a bit fragile. I didn't find the short height a demerit, but again it seems it would be so attractive in a girl's room. I don't recommend it for a boy's room. I don't believe it would stand up to boys rough housing and knocking it over. For me, I do not recommend it for a reading light when a good light is needed.

This was a good choice for my daughter's bedroom. She loves it. Great pinkish ambiance for playing, great bright light for reading, and an other for playing again!! No regret!!!

Gorgeous lamp at a great price. Love that you can adjust how many lights are on at a time.

I needed such a floor lamp and I'm happy that I've bought this one. Comparing the price with the quality, this product deserves 5 stars. Also you can set it up easily and start using it right away.

Very pleased with lamp, good switch, heavy base. Had bought another brand last year, lasted 6 months. This seems better built.

I just got the pink version of this lamp last night and set it up. It was packaged securely in its box. It assembled easily without any tools being needed. Everything just screws together by hand. One of the coolest things about this lamp that is unadvertised is how the switch works. It has three positions. Click it once and all five lights come on. Click it again and three go off, leaving two lights on. Click it again and the two lights go off and the other 3 come on. One more click and everything's off. It's a nice alternative to a dimmer switch. You can put the colored shades on the lamp in any positions you want. They easily are removed but are securely fastened with a nut when in position. Since there are five bulbs the shadows are softer. The cord on this lamp is a little short. I didn't measure but I think it's around three or four feet long. The cord is white. This product is listed as being five feet tall, which it appears to be. When I first saw it together I thought it looked a little short, not that it was shorter than five feet, but just that I didn't realize five feet was that short. I expected this to reach more to the ceiling which it does not. Still, once I got it together and turned on I think it's beautiful and I'm completely satisfied with how it lights up my room. I have it beside my bed with most of the lights pointing up but one pointing down as a reading lamp, which works quite nicely. You won't be disappointed!

Bought for a teenage boy- This floor lamp is whimsical, yet not overdone. Has brightness settings.

I bought a few of these for the kids, but after assembling one, decided to take them back. The product just lacks sufficient quality for me to feel comfortable with it. here are the deficiencies: 1) The snake-like arms holding the bulbs are just barely able to remain positioned where I want them. 2) The very thin threads on the "snake head" base barely screwed into the main post reliably. Also, it seemed like a few more twists and the head screws would strip inside the post. 3) The shaft had a difficult time remaining "plumb" = straight up and down. It leaned one way or the other based on how the "snake-arms" were positioned. 4) The on-off switch did not have a good click feel. felt like the spring in the switch would give away anytime. My conclusion: cheap = low price, but also in this case, cheap = low quality. I returned them to target. Cool idea though!

I bought this lamp for my sons room. He is four years old, and breaks alot of stuff, so I didn't want anything expensive, but I needed a lamp that would give out enough light in his room, and at the same time look nice and dynamic in his room. I like the lamp; the lamps adjustable arms are great for directing light where you want it. My son loves it because it is a fun looking lamp. The package it came in was small, it was easy to assemble. I actually love the lamp.

the product is a nice sturdy item....i was concerned that this could be a "flemsy" lamp because i had not seen one in the stores. I was pleased when i opened the box, and even more surprised to see that the lamp came with light bulbs. This was a christmas gift for an ohio state fan, and it is a good looking lamp...and that's coming from a MICHIGAN fan...Go Blue!!
